To design and develop culturally responsive climate change curricula that incorporate Indigenous perspectives, ensuring that educational content reflects Indigenous knowledge and approaches to climate adaptation.
The workshop will raise greater cultural sensitivity and inclusivity in climate change education, leading to a more diverse and accurate understanding of climate issues and solutions, and promoting respect and recognition for Indigenous knowledge systems in educational settings.
Participants will develop actionable strategies and resources for creating and implementing curricula that reflect Indigenous viewpoints, resulting in educational programs that better represent Indigenous knowledge and enhance students' understanding of diverse climate adaptation strategies.
