Project-Commercialization (PC) Model

Leveraging Student and Faculty Innovation

The research commercialization office also presents the PC model, a complementary framework designed to unlock the commercial potential of completed final year projects and faculty research. Unlike the PPC model, the PC model focuses on Patent acquisition and subsequent Commercialization efforts for existing innovations. This model provides a streamlined path for students and faculty members to explore the commercial viability of their accomplished projects. Here’s how it works:

Our IP experts evaluate the technology’s novelty, uniqueness, and industrial use to determine patentability. If eligible, we guide researchers through the patent process to ensure proper IP protection.

Commercialization - Once patent protection is secured; the PC model actively facilitates bringing the innovation to market.
