Services Not Offered

To maintain regulatory clarity and ethical compliance, the following services are not provided at this facility:

● Human clinical diagnostic testing or patient-based investigations

● Veterinary diagnostic services for pets or livestock

● Infectious disease diagnostic panels (human or veterinary)

● Rapid kit–based screening tests

● Feed analysis and commercial food safety testing

● Hormonal or biomarker testing intended for clinical decision-making

All testing activities are limited to research protocols using laboratory animal samples only.

1. What is the intended use of these testing services?

All tests are offered strictly for research and development purposes only, including academic research, postgraduate projects, and pharmaceutical R&D.

2. Are human samples tested at this facility?

No. All tests are performed exclusively on laboratory animal samples. Human clinical samples are not accepted under any circumstances.

3. Who can avail these services?

Our services are available to researchers, academic institutions, postgraduate and doctoral students, and pharmaceutical or biotechnology organizations.

4. Are animal-based studies conducted at this facility?

Yes. Studies such as acute, sub-acute, and chronic toxicity evaluations are conducted on approved laboratory animals (e.g., mice and rats) strictly for research purposes only.

5. What are the charges for animal-based research studies?

Rates for animal studies are clearly listed in the service catalog. Charges apply only to research procedures and are not related to veterinary treatment or commercial diagnostics.

6. Do you follow ethical guidelines for animal research?

Yes. All animal-based studies are performed in compliance with institutional ethical committee approvals and national research ethics guidelines.

7. Do you collaborate with external diagnostic laboratories?

Yes. The laboratory operates under a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CADx Chughtai Lab for academic, research, and technical collaboration where required.

8. Do you provide testing for finished pharmaceutical products?

Yes. IPQC and finished product testing is available at a rate of PKR 10,000 for research and quality evaluation purposes.

● Animal Samples Only: All experimental and analytical tests are performed exclusively on laboratory animal samples (e.g., mice, rats, and other approved research animals). No human samples are accepted or tested.

● No Diagnostic Services: We do not provide testing for individual patient care, clinical diagnosis, or treatment monitoring.

● Regulatory & Ethical Compliance: All testing activities are conducted following institutional ethical approvals and established scientific best practices.
