To explore and develop effective communication strategies for conveying Indigenous climate adaptation approaches through narrative and media, enhancing the visibility and impact of these strategies in both Indigenous and broader communities.
The workshop will strengthen the ability of Indigenous communities and their allies to communicate climate adaptation strategies effectively, leading to greater public awareness, support, and action on Indigenous-led climate solutions, and raising a more inclusive dialogue on climate resilience.
Participants will gain practical skills and tools for crafting compelling narratives and utilizing media to communicate Indigenous climate adaptation strategies, resulting in improved outreach, engagement, and support for Indigenous-led climate initiatives.
