To identify and analyze the specific challenges climate change poses to Indigenous land and water resources and to explore effective adaptation strategies that Indigenous communities can employ to mitigate these impacts and enhance resilience.
The workshop aims to empower Indigenous communities with actionable knowledge and strategies to address the adverse effects of climate change on their land and water resources, leading to improved environmental stewardship and enhanced community resilience.
Participants will develop a comprehensive understanding of the challenges climate change poses to Indigenous land and water resources, alongside practical adaptation strategies. This will result in actionable plans for mitigating these impacts and a strengthened network for collaboration and support in implementing effective solutions.
